Church Leaders at Redeemer Reformation Church

We believe that Christ has instituted three offices in the church: minister of the Word, elder, and deacon. At Redeemer we are blessed to have the following men serve us in these offices.

Minister of the Word

Rev. Brian Cochran has been serving Redeemer Reformation Church in Regina, Saskatchewan since 2010. He was ordained as a Minister of the Word in the United Reformed Churches in North America on March 12, 2010.

Pastor Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible-Theology from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Seminary California.

He is a native Southern Californian, recently became a citizen of Canada, and loves the people of Regina (the winters are a little more of a challenge to love, but he enjoys playing with his kids in the snow and the beauty of hoar frost and sun dogs!).

He did not grow up in Reformed churches but in a large non-denominational evangelical church. However, he became interested in Reformed theology through a mentor in his youth group and the writings, lectures and sermons of R.C. Sproul, John Piper, and Michael Horton (whom he was privileged to have as a seminary professor). He has a passion to preach Christ from all of Scripture, to teach God's Word to all ages, to sing with God's people in worship, to help people grow in maturity in Christ and to know the comfort, joy and hope of belonging to Jesus, our faithful Saviour (Heidelberg Catechism, Lord's Day 1).

Pastor Brian and his wife Julie were married in 2005, and have five children.
