*Song of Praise ~ Psalm 95A:1-3 “O Come before the LORD Our King” (tune)
Reading of God’s Law ~ Exodus 20:1-17 (p. 61)
Prayer of Confession (FP 100)
Our Father, we are sinful, and You are holy. We recognize that we have heard in Your law difficult words, knowing how often we have offended You in thought, word, and deed, not only by obvious violations, but by failing to conform to its perfect commands, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. Apart from Christ, there is nothing in us that gives us reason for hope; for where we thought we were well, we are sick in soul. Where we thought we were holy, we are in truth unholy and ungrateful. Our hearts are filled with the love of the world; our minds are dark and are assailed by doubts; our wills are too often given to selfishness and our bodies to laziness and unrighteousness. By sinning against our neighbors, we have also sinned against You, in whose image they were created. In this time of silent confession, we bring You our particular sins. (moment of silence)
*Declaration of Pardon ~ 1 Peter 2:22-25
*Song of Thanksgiving ~ #377 “Join All the Glorious Names” (tune)
Congregational Prayer, followed by The Lord’s Prayer (FP 98)
Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
*Song of Preparation ~ Psalm 23B “The Lord’s My Shepherd” (tune)
Prayer of Illumination
Scripture Reading ~ 1 Peter 5:1-5 (p. 1016)

Prayer of Application
*Song of Application ~ #525 “Savior, like a Shepherd Lead Us” (tune)
Presentation of Offerings
*Song of Praise ~ Psalm 28:8; #569 (tune)
O save your people, your own flock, and bless your heritage, dear LORD. Attend them with a shepherd’s care and carry them forevermore.
Praise God from whom all blessing flow; praise him, all creatures here below; praise him above, ye heav'nly host: praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
*God’s Blessing ~ Hebrews 13:20-21
