Belgic Confession

This sermon series is a journey through the Bible's essential teachings as confessed by Reformed churches for the past 450 years in the Belgic Confession of Faith. Our Confession of Faith is called the Belgic Confession because it originated in what is now known as Belgium. It's chief editor was Guido de Brès an itinerant preacher of the Reformed Churches (pictured to the left in prison), who died a martyr to the faith in the year 1567.

To learn more about the historical background of the Belgic Confession you can listen to this brief introduction to our confession by Pastor Brian:

A Brief Intro to the Belgic Confession (6 min.)

Our prayer is that this sermon series will inspire the same spirit of devotion to God's Word that inspired thousands of Christians to die for their faith rather than deny the truth that we confess from God's Word.
